Are you one of the 2.1 million couples who are missing out on the marriage tax allowance ?26/7/2017 Figures show that many couples who are married or in a civil partnership are missing out on a tax allowance worth £230 this year. To qualify one of you must be a non-tax payer and one must be a basic rate taxpayer. Why miss out? Application forms can be downloaded from HMRC. As an added bonus if you qualify you can also claim for previous years. Definitely worth a look. As always I am happy for you to share this post with anyone who may have an interest. Would love to hear from you if you were successful in claiming this.
