I do this by making each ceremony a truly unique and memorable occasion tailored to my clients brief. Using my professional experience I can also provide additional ideas and practical advice, so that your event can be everything you dream it might be. I offer a free initial consultation, so that we can meet informally to talk about your plans, as I understand that getting the right person for your important day is a top priority.

Following my retirement, from a varied teaching career spanning forty years, I trained to become a qualified Independent Civil Celebrant. I specialises in Couples and family ceremonies. When I retired I was looking for a new challenge and I felt that the role of an Independent Celebrant matched many of the skills I had developed over my years in teaching. I create and conduct unique ceremonies based on my client’s requirements. Each ceremony is carefully crafted to reflect the brief I have been given. In additon to creating and conducting ceremonies I also work as a tutor on the professional qualiffication course for Independant Celebrants - the NVQ Naming and Couples Celebrancy. The beauty of a Celebrant led ceremony is that you can have your celebration anywhere. You can book any venue that hires out their space for events. This could include a hotel, a museum, a gallery, woodland, a beach, a field, your old school, a night club, your garden, a tea room, the place where you first met. Why not consider making it a Festival weekend and invite friends and family to join you ? It makes no difference to a Celebrant how many times someone has been married or what the circumstances were. A Celebrant only cares about your wedding and will be committed to delivering something memorable. If you have children you may wish to include them in some way within the ceremony, may be as readers, or by making promises to them or by lighting candles together. It is your ceremony and can include all you wish. |
