After all the build up to your big day and the fun of the day itself it is sometimes easy to forget that there are still things to do after your wedding day.
One of the most important tasks is writing the thank you cards. Generally this is done within three months of your wedding day. This does not need to be a daunting task. Why not use a couple of photos of your day to create a card ? It's best to hand write the cards and make them personal by referring to the gift you received or if you were given cash what you plan to spend it on as you start your new life together. Then finish with your good wishes. It's a good idea to make a note of who gave you what as you open gifts. This can be a task you ask someone else to do. As you sit and write your cards you can also relive those special moments in your day.

,I am very excited this week to have met with a couple who are considering a Combined Ceremony.
These ceremonies are currently being piloted by Staffordshire Registration Service. The ceremony, which must be held at a licenced venue in Staffordshire, will be led by a Celebrant with a Registrar present to undertake the legal declarations and contracts. If successful this may be an idea taken up by other Local Authorities. |
AuthorChoosing a Celebrant to help you create that special ceremony is an important step towards making your occasion a really memorable one. Why not take advantage of the free initial meeting I offer ? I believe it is important to meet informally to discuss your ideas and what I can offer. Meeting also gives us an opportunity to explore the type of ceremony that would best suit your needs. Archives
