with thanks .......
I always feel very privileged to conduct the ceremonies I create.
Being part of peoples' special days is truly wonderful.
We just wanted to thank you for such a lovely ceremony. It was perfect for us and we’re so pleased with how it went.
Kate and Neil
"Christine was an absolute joy to work with - she spent time getting to know us as a couple before putting together the perfect script for our ceremony. We’re so very thankful for Christine and for the kind words and we'd recommend her services to anyone! - Mr & Mrs Hancock."
Thank you very much for today, Christine. The service was wonderful, your words were lovely and we loved it! We have had so many compliments about your service from family and friends. It was so personal.
Thank you for your time and patience with us in planning today, it was just perfect!
I'm afraid to say that we don't plan to have anymore children so are unlikely to have any further naming days but hope our paths will cross again one day and will recommend you to anyone looking for a celebrant!

This month I returned to the Kitchen Garden to conduct a Wedding Celebration for Victoria and Dave.
The Kitchen garden has recently opened an additional room in which to hold ceremonies.
Victoria and Dave had created the perfect setting by including a neon sign.
"Thank you so much for the kind words, we had a wonderful day on Saturday, everything was perfect - thank you so much!

I was thrilled to receive the following message from Victoria and Ed after their daughter's Naming ceremony in Lutterworth.
"We are so glad that we picked Christine as our celebrant for our daughter's naming ceremony. She was very professional, kind and helpful throughout the whole process. She emailed regularly with advice, thoughts and tips. The ceremony flowed perfectly even with many noisy little ones, including the birthday girl! We would highly recommend Christine. Thank you for making the ceremony one to remember fondly. "
I too will remember the ceremony with great fondness. The guests were all close family or friends and the ceremony was held in a small intimate venue. Everyone had a part in the ceremony and there was a wonderful feeling of support and love.
My thanks to Sharon and Alan for their wonderful message following their Renewal of Vows ceremony at Highbury Hall, Moseley.
" The day panned out to be absolutely perfect and the ceremony was beautifully executed and exactly as we envisioned, which was mainly down to yourself. There weren't many dry eyes for sure. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, you played a major role in one of the most special days in our lives. You are truly wonderful ! Thank you so much we are incredibly appreciative."
Originally Sharon and Alan had planned to have their wedding day at Highbury Hall but then due to Covid they had a simple two plus two marriage service at the local registry office. So now that restrictions are no longer in place they were able to have the day they had always dreamed of.

This was the gorgeous setting for Gemma and Tom's Wedding celebration - The Punchbowl, Lapworth.
They chose to include a sand ceremony in their celebration. This is not just about creating a keepsake of the day but also has a deeper meaning for as the grains of sand are poured into the large container they combine and can never again be separated.
It was a joy to conduct Tom and Gemma's ceremony which Gemma's mother said was everything Gemma had wished for.
It was a real delight to do Thea's naming ceremony this weekend. The ceremony was delayed for nearly eighteen months. It took place in Dudley and as I travelled there I passed the venue where six years before I had conducted her big brother's Naming ceremony. It bought back some very happy memories.
I always feel so privileged play a small part in a child's special day. To be there when family and friends gather to welcome them into their community and show the love and commitment which will support that child throughout their life.

After a delay of nearly two years I was thrilled to be part of Niko's naming ceremony on Saturday. The ceremony took place in Leamington. It was lovely to reconnect with Kristina and Albert as it had been a few years since I conducted the Naming ceremony for their oldest child.
This morning I received an email from Kristina which made my day.
"Thanks again for the wonderful ceremony! Everyone thought it was really special with beautiful words."

Last week I was back at Sedgebrook Hotel, as a Tutor Assessor, training new Celebrants. It was a great week with lots of energy from the students.
Today I was so pleased to receive an email of thanks from one of the participants.
"I am writing to thank you all for the amazing work you did last week on the residential course. All the feedback I received from you was extremely practical and helpful, and I feel I learned a huge amount in a very short space of time. I am very appreciative of the amount of work and energy that went into the preparation and delivery of the course; I now feel very well equipped to move forward as a celebrant and am very excited to get started."
I love this aspect of my work and am looking forward to the next course in March.

It was wonderful to be conducting my first wedding of the year without any restrictions this week at Hanbury Wedding Barns.
Although the weather forecast had been predicting rain the sun shone through and made the day even more special for Marie and Edan.
They, like many other couples, had originally planned to marry in 2020 but the pandemic meant their plans were changed.
They chose to have a Combined ceremony which included their legal declarations and a wedding ceremony in which they made their promises to each other, exchanged their rings and other members of the family were able to take a part.
Their marriage brings together two different cultures and the ceremony wove together the aspects of each of their heritages and cultures, as well as reuniting family who have not been able to see each other for such a long time.
Marie emailed after the day to say,
"Dear Christine
Thank you so much for the ceremony. Everyone loved all of it and told us how much better it was than a usual religious ceremony.
It all worked out really nice and special.
Many many thanks and best wishes
Marie "

With so many Weddings being postponed until next year. I was thrilled to be asked to be part of Aby and Paul's wedding day.
Unfortunately, due to the restrictions around social distancing they were unable to hold their legal ceremony outdoors. So determined were they that their wedding ceremony would take place in the beautiful gardens at Thorpe Constantine they decided to have a commitment ceremony outdoors and follow this with the legal declarations and contractual promises within the venue.
Aby said, "It was so lovely to meet you. We had such a lovely day and the ceremony was so beautiful and everything we hoped for so. Thank you so much. "

Thank you for conducting another lovely service - and at such short notice! We are so pleased that you were able to do it for both of the girls, helping it all feel connected.
Sarah and Steve
It was so lovely meeting you today. We all can't thank you enough for a beautifully conducted commitment ceremony. I think all marriage ceremonies should be done this way.
We feel privileged and grateful to have you do the ceremony today which we all enjoyed.
Balvinder
Thank you so much. We really appreciate the beautiful words and service you gave us yesterday. Thank you from both me and Miranda. We had a really great day.
Alex and Miranda
Thank you so much.
Saturday was amazing, we both enjoyed it so much. Gus was starting to get very nervous in the weeks running up but we both agreed we enjoyed it more than our actual wedding day. Thank you so much for making it so special.

Thank you ever so much for all that you did for preparation and on the day. We had the most wonderful experience and you made our day so very unique and personal.
We received many comments from guests remarking on the service and that was down to yourself.
We would be happy to share our experience!

We just wanted to thank you for the lovely ceremony you conducted for Francesca.
It was everything we hoped it would be and more.
So many people approached us afterwards to say how personable the Celebrant felt and how they really felt part of the day. It is certainly one we shall remember and treasure forever.
Sarah, Steve and Francesca
You will not find a more professional, yet, warm
and personable celebrant!
Working with Christine on
my daughter’s Naming Day Ceremony was a smooth and seamless process.
We met twice to; first get to know each other and for me to understand the nature of the ceremony and; second to plan the day. We then liaised over email to finalise the ceremony script, whereupon, I drew on Christine’s inspiration and ideas for the content. Lastly, Christine’s presence and delivery was just right to engage an audience of 50 plus guests. Thank you so much Christine for making my daughter’s Naming Ceremony a truly magical day!
Kristina, Albert and Orla.
"Oh thank you SO MUCH Chris !
We had such a wonderful day and you really made it so perfect for us. Everyone commented on how lovely and relaxed and friendly and personable you were ..... and I couldn't agree more. I am so glad to have found you.
Lots of love and many many thanks"

Graham and Adele thought their day was in ruins when they were unable to go ahead with a legal marriage due to delays and they had only six weeks to go until their big day. Everything was in place and they were devastated by the delay. However, by opting for a Commitment ceremony Graham and Adele had their special day with family and friends.
'Had we known how good our (Celebrant led) ceremony would be we would have opted for one in the first place. There was so much more choice and it said more about us'

"We wanted to pass on a massive thank you for all your help in organising the ceremony. We've received comments from a surprisingly wide range of people who called it the highlight of the day.
It's a thoroughly daunting experience to design a service - and I don't want to think where we would have got to without your wisdom and patience.
Many thanks once again."

"Thank you for the Perfect Service. We will cherish the memories forever. You managed to capture our personalities spot on."

"We just wanted to say a huge thanks for a lovely service on Saturday, it was just what we hoped for ! We had a fantastic day and are now en route to the airport for our honeymoon !"
Tim and Emma
"Before the chaos of the honeymoon we just wanted to say thanks for everything. The ceremony was perfect and bespoke and Lucy and Will all over. The thunder made it interesting to say the least as well as the baby wandering around, just made it more relaxed.
Thanks again
