Two things every parent can give to their child are roots and wings.
Roots provide a strong foundation, they anchor the child in their families culture, customs, beliefs and moral outlook. They do not tie a child down but give them something to build from and nourish them.
Wings help them fly over an obstacles they encounter, fly free and gain the heights of the best they can be. Wings can also bring them home.

Whilst having a Celebrant lead ceremony does not infer any legal status many couples are choosing to have one following registration of their marriage in a simple service at a registry office. Last week I was privileged to be the first Celebrant to conduct a Combined ceremony as part of the Staffordshire pilot.
It was a glorious day made even more special for the bride and groom by being able to have the legal aspects of their marriage witnessed by family and friends within a bespoke ceremony which included music, poems, a handfasting and the lighting of a Unity candle.
My thanks to all the other professionals who were involved, Jane and Yvonne from the Registrars Office, Tamara the wedding event coordinator at Pendrell Hall and Justin the photographer.
It truly was a wonderful occasion.
Choosing a Celebrant to help you create that special ceremony is an important step towards making your occasion a really memorable one. Why not take advantage of the free initial meeting I offer ? I believe it is important to meet informally to discuss your ideas and what I can offer. Meeting also gives us an opportunity to explore the type of ceremony that would best suit your needs.
