What I offer

I offer a one-to-one coaching service to Celebrants who work with Couples and families.
I believe there are key principles which apply to all forms of ceremonies and my aim is to work with you so that you can discover what works best for you and enables you to provide a first-class service to your clients.

Every one of us have our own style and therefore appeal to a different area of the marketplace, so my support is given on an individual basis.

What do you think of when you think of the "perfect wedding day" ?

For every couple the answer to this question will be different so it is worth thinking about what are the key things for you.

​Other people love to be involved in the planning too but be careful that your own ideas don't get side-lined.  Be clear about your vision and ask people to do specific tasks.

Set a realistic budget and keep to it.

To keep costs down if you don't need four new toasters you could ask people to contribute in other ways.  It takes a little more organisation but maybe each guest could bring a starter, main or dessert to go onto a buffet table.

Perhaps people might give their time by making table decorations, or decorating the room in which your event will take place. You can find lots of ideas on line.

Perhaps someone you know could provide the transport.  I once had a bride arrive on a tractor much to the delight of everyone, including her father who was driving.

​It can be fun planning your day, especially if other people are helping to.  You will also have the satisfaction of knowing that you won't be facing a large bill after your day.

​Do you have a favourite quote about love and marriage which inspires you ?  If so why not build it into your ceremony.

Music can greatly enhance any ceremony.  

Within a Wedding ceremony the first pieces which herald the start of the ceremony are usually used for the entrance of the groom and/or the bridal party.  Often these are traditional pieces.  When listening to your chosen music consider which part of the piece you want and start the music at this point.  This is especially important if there is onl a short aisle.

The second opportunity for music is during the signing of the register/certificate.  This piece can be a favourite piece and it is nice to be able to share the detail as to why this piece is important to you as a couple.

The final piece is played as you leave as a couple.  This needs to be upbeat and can be a quirky choice.
